Splitting tensile strength

Splitting Tensile Strength testing measures the amount of stress on the tension face of bending concrete.

Using concrete moulded into 100mm diameter cylinders, we compress along their length to measure the amount of stress.

The Compression Strength test measures the ability of the concrete to support loadings over a given area.

Drilled cores of hardened concrete can be tested to assess strength and density.
