
About the job
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our Drury Quarry team. The successful person will manage and operate the weighbridge system and greet customers and visitors coming into the quarry. You will use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers. You will be the first point of contact at the Quarry and interact face to face with our wide range of clients and customers.
You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Deal with customer orders and that all orders and enquiries are actioned correctly, courteously & efficiently by phone or over the counter.
- Weighbridge duties on a day to day basis.
- Purchase Orders/Invoice processing
- Give directions to the customers on the whereabouts of the product requested and that customers are assisted with product information.
Operational hours are from 6am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6am – 4pm and rostered Saturday’s 6am – 12pm.
You will be someone who uses good people skills to build positive relationships, works safely and follows instructions, looks after yourself and others, supports your team when needed, and aims to deliver a good experience for our customers.
Experience and attributes:
- Class 1 licence as a minimum
- Experience working within administration and/or weighbridge duties
- Prior experience of processing accounts payable/receivables
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match
- Be a team player
- Good level of physical fitness
- Have a strong customer focus
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed
