About the role:
You will coordinate and manage raw materials at the plant, and oversee mix management, concrete production and delivery of concrete. This is an entry-level role where you will have the opportunity to develop your concrete batching and plant operation skillset.
About you:
No previous experience is necessary for this role as full training will be provided. However previous experience in the concrete industry, or experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
You’ll be responsible for wide range of responsibilities including.
- Producing concrete that meets our quality standards.
- Meeting operational service targets for distribution.
- Administer and organise activities such as mix management, driver, plant & staff efficiency.
- Implement and manage plant maintenance and inspections.
- Operating machinery such as a loader and forklift.
Skills and Experience
- Must have full class 1 licence
- Forklift licence is advantageous
- Batching experience & concrete knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Be a team player.
- Hardworking & diligent.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
- Able to work early starts, late finishes and do weekend work.
